Window Cleaning Streak-free glass, inside and out — on a schedule that keeps it that way.

Window Cleaning power washing in Chicago by Grime Pushers
What we do

The job, done right.

Clean glass is the fastest way to make a property look cared-for — and the first thing to show streaks, hard-water spots and fingerprints. Our window cleaning covers Chicago storefronts, offices and homes: exterior and interior glass, plus screens, tracks and sills. It's commercial and residential window washing done by hand and finished streak-free — and because the same crew already power washes your building, we can do the glass on the same visit, one call and one invoice for a facade that looks new from the sidewalk to the top floor.

For businesses, commercial window cleaning is a first-impression job: smudged storefront glass and spotted office windows read as neglected before a customer ever walks in. That's why most of our commercial clients run a recurring window cleaning route — weekly or bi-weekly for retail and food service, monthly or quarterly for offices. Homeowners get the same streak-free result on a twice-a-year spring and fall schedule, or whenever the glass needs it.

Grime Pushers provides professional window cleaning and pressure washing for residential + commercial properties across Chicago and the surrounding suburbs — all 77 neighborhoods, from the Loop to Beverly.

FAQ

Window Cleaning questions.

How often should commercial windows be cleaned?

Most storefronts and offices run on a recurring window cleaning route — weekly or bi-weekly for high-traffic retail and food service, monthly or quarterly for offices and lighter-traffic buildings. Homes are usually twice a year, spring and fall. We'll set a cadence around your foot traffic, location and how fast your glass shows it, and recurring clients get priority scheduling and a locked-in rate.

What's the difference between interior-only and full-service window cleaning?

Interior-only covers the inside of the glass — good for quick refreshes or tenant spaces you can't close off from outside. Full-service window cleaning is inside and outside glass plus screens, tracks and sills, which is what most first cleans and recurring routes use. We quote both tiers, and recurring contracts lock in the better per-visit price.

Do you clean screens, tracks and sills too?

Yes, on full-service jobs. Screens are popped out, washed and reset; tracks and sills are vacuumed and wiped so the grime doesn't just rinse back onto clean glass. It's the difference between windows that look clean and windows that actually are.

How high can you reach?

We clean anything reachable from the ground with water-fed poles and from ladders where it's safe — ground-level storefronts, homes and low- to mid-rise glass. We don't do high-rise, lift or rope-access work; we stay within safe reach, which covers the vast majority of storefronts, offices and homes. If a building needs more than that, we'll tell you up front.

Can you clean windows and power wash on the same visit?

That's the whole idea. The same crew that power washes your building exterior, storefront or concrete can do the window cleaning on the same trip — so you get a facade that's clean top to bottom, one point of contact, and one invoice instead of juggling two vendors.
